Any temporary traveler who does not belong to the Schengen Area needs to present for his visa (or a simple transit in U.E) a certificate of insurance in accordance with the European regulations. This insurance must be valid for the duration of the stay. It must guarantee for a minimum of € 30,000 the costs of medical repatriation and emergency medical or hospital care during the stay.

Any Schengen visa issued by a Member State of the Schengen Agreement is valid for the entire Schengen territory.

Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark (excluding Greenland and Faroe Islands), Estonia, Spain (except Ceuta and Melilla), Finland, France (except Overseas France), Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia , Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Norway (except Svalbard), the Netherlands (except Aruba, Curacao, St. Maarten and the Caribbean Netherlands), Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland.
